About Henk Smit

Drankengroothandel Henk Smit was founded in 1973 by Henk Smit. Henk Smit started his local business, selling beer and lemonade near Limmen with a small truck. Drankengroothandel Henk Smit has grown and nowadays supplies in the North Holland and Amsterdam region. In 2002 the company moved from Limmen to Amsterdam, where a modern new distribution center was built. Here we have a storage capacity of approximately 5,000 pallet places and 10 dock shelters.

Henk Smit has been succeeded by two of his five sons, Maarten and Hein. More than 75 employees work at our company, 7 days a week, from dusk till dawn. The product range consists of approximately 5,000 diverse types of drinks and related articles. We process more than 10,000 orders every week.

Thanks to our design of the distribution center and our advanced ICT application, we can process enormous flows of goods every day. Together with our warehouse management system and our own trucks and drivers, we ensure fast and smooth deliveries.
