Account

  • How do I create an account?

    To become a customer at Henk Smit you can apply for an account. We will then assess this application. You will be contacted about the outcome of this review.

  • How can I change my account information?

    After you log in, you can edit your account information in your dashboard. However, you cannot change the email address yourself. To do so, you must send us a request by email.

  • How do I request a new password?

    If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new password. We will send you a new password as soon as possible. 

  • How do I change the password of the account?

    If you wish to change your password, you can enter and confirm a new password under 'Change Password' in your dashboard.

  • Can I get my statistics myself?

    Yes, you can request these yourself via the statistics page in your dashboard.

Assortment

  • Do the prices include or exclude VAT?

    All prices shown on Henk Smit are exclusive of VAT. 

  • What do I do if I can't find an item?

    In the unlikely event that you cannot find an item, please send us an e-mail with the item description. Our purchasing department will then check when it is back in stock or consider adding the product to the assortment for you. 

  • Is the stock shown on the website correct?

    Yes, if a product is marked as 'Not on stock', it is not in stock. If you have questions about the availability of an item, please send an email

  • When is an article back in stock?

    Some items on our website are order items and are only purchased by us when there are sales. If you would like to know the exact delivery time, please send an email

Billing

  • Will I receive an invoice in the mail?

    No, you will receive the invoice by email. 

  • When will I receive an invoice?

    You will receive an invoice depending on your personal billing preference. 

  • How can I request a copy of an invoice?

    If you would like to receive a copy of an invoice, you can download it from your dashboard

Delivery

  • Where can I find the status of my order?

    No further status information is available after the order confirmation. Indication of delivery time is unfortunately not available.

  • When will my order be delivered?

    Your order will be delivered by our drivers on the delivery date you have specified.

Order

  • Can I also buy from Henk Smit as an individual?

    Henk Smit does not sell to individuals. 

  • How can I order from Henk Smit?

    Ordering is easy via the website. Add the products to your shopping basket and go through the checkout steps.

  • Is it possible to place a second order on the same day?

    If you place the order before 12:00 noon the day before delivery, we will combine your orders and you will get them delivered at once.

  • Will my order be confirmed?

    After you have completed your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email within a few minutes.

  • Can I cancel an order?

    Please contact us by phone, if the order has not been processed in the warehouse, we can still cancel it.

  • I have placed my order, but I have not yet received an order confirmation

    After you have completed your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email within a few minutes. If you have not received an order confirmation after a few minutes, please check your spam filter. I you did not find anything there either, please contact us via email.

  • Can I change an order?

    Please contact us by phone, if the order has not been processed in the warehouse, we can still change it.

  • How can I pay at Henk Smit?

    We collect payments for Henk Smit via SEPA direct debit.

  • What is HenkSmit's bankaccount number?

    HenkSmit's bank account number is NL15 RABO 0336 4038 36 (Rabobank). 

Questions/Complaints

  • How can I make a complaint?

    If you are not satisfied with the service or delivery from Henk Smit, please send an email to our customer service. We will then deal with this as soon as possible.

  • What to do with transport damaged items?

    If you find any breakage when checking the order, you should report this to the driver if he/she is still present. If the driver is already gone, please send us an email (with pictures).

  • Can I change an order?

    Henk Smit can be reached by email or phone on working days between 07:00 and 16:00.
